QUITNET PROFILES
MutinyFever requested a list of profiles from the people at the Q. He presented categories and asked for names to go w/ those categories. The people of the Q gave him a list that they thought may be interesting reading for newbies and elders a like. These profiles reflect the choices of the people at the Q, not just one persons opinion and is intended to supply the feeling some people have expressed when reading them. It is not intended to be exclusive of profiles that have escaped anyone's notice. There are many great profiles that are not on this list but that does not mean they won't be added in the future. The plan for this list is to continue adding names and categories to it so that the list continues to grow. New category suggestions are encouraged.
If you have any suggestions for new categories and names to be either added to the new categories or those already there, qmail me and I'll add them asap... Also, do not limit yourself to the names on this list. Any profile listed here doesn't mean they are better than those not listed. Every profile at the Q has something to offer someone. Read everything you can. There is an endless supply of profiles to read, it's a never ending thing. So, read, read, and read some more. These profiles are sorted by category and then alphabetized. They are not sorted by quality. And the names are clickable links! This is a combination of the list he came up plus a few additional ones.
PS. Sukit had a great idea. She said: "All you new guys, if you read a response from someone and you resonate with it and want to learn more about that person or how they quit (etc) just click on their user name and you will be taken to their profile. And please take the time to fill one out yourself - it's useful to not only us but will be to you later as well."

j9unit.. i think hers should still be in there because she emphasizes not to delete a profile...
maybe under "what not to do to your profile? lol.
Well maybe we can have a msc category. or the Q voice of reason.
Ahhhhhhh...my profile.....my dreams, fears, hopes, agony, strength....
all recorded here...faithfully...every milestone...every panic attack...
every long evening spent crying...just barely holding on...
GONE!
Just like that. Take it from me...NEVER erase your profile...especially out of anger.
I did that.STUPID!! Some one hurt my feelings...badly...on my one year anniversary.
I was so upset that I went in and erased my profile...all of it...
Let me tell you something...
besides the fact that it turned out to be a HUGE misunderstang...
I cannot replace what I had written there.
It brings tears to my eyes to think that it is all gone...and it was truly wonderful.
Several times when I was struggling, I would look back on MY OWN struggles
and the pain I endured keeping this quit...
it always put me right back on track...to know how hard I had worked.Sigh.
DO NOT ERASE YOUR PROFILE...
